The first two photos are the view from my sixth floor bedroom window in the morning, and the last photo is the view from the fifth floor of my apartment building in downtown Augusta.
Richard and Rita, Bob and Nancy, Hot Rod Mike, Jimmy Midnight, Debbie, Cathryn and The Maine Paparazzi held the Women in Black weekly vigil on October 8, 2021 with signs and flags flying and vehicular passengers waving and honking on a beautiful, sunny fall day.
Every Friday, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm, the Augusta area Women in Black hold a peace vigil in front of Lithgow Library. Augusta Women in Black have held a weekly peace vigil continuously since 2002, except for the first Friday of the "Trump Pandemic". Next year will be our 20th year.
