When the going gets tough, the tough get going. Six degrees above, minus 15 degrees below wind chill and lots of snow on the ground as the Augusta Women in Black held their first peace vigil of 2017. Passerbys honked their horns and held up peace signs while Sally, Cathryn and The Maine Paparazzi huddled together like a bunch of wild turkeys trying to stay warm in the winter.
Since beginning in 2002, Augusta Women in Black has entered the 17th year of continually holding weekly peace vigils in Augusta in front of Lithgow Public Library on Friday from 12:30 to 1:00 PM. Please consider joining us.
