15.08.31 Augusta WinB travel to Island Peace & Justice vigil in Deer Isle

Five members of Augusta Women in Black - Cathryn Wilson, Anne Lunt, Lucia Robinson, Sally Brotherton and The Maine Paparazzi - traveled to Deer Isle to participate in an Island Peace & Justice vigil. Greeted by 18 peace advocates at the vigil on Route 15 across from the Deer Isle-Stonington High School, and then treated to a picnic in the shadow of the Deer Isle suspension bridge - a beautiful, peaceful way to end the summer months.
Women in Black vigil for peace every Friday in front of Lithgow Library in Augusta, Maine from 12:30 to 1:00 PM.
