18.07.28 Maine Rally to Oppose Trump's Nomination of Kavanaugh to SCOTUS

Over 225 Maine activists attended the Maine Rally to Oppose Trump's Nomination of Kavanaugh to SCOTUS at the State House in Augusta on July 28, 2018. Eliza Townsend, executive director of Maine Women’s Lobby noted that “Kavanaugh’s record on civil rights and criminal justice is deeply worrisome. Because he was handpicked by the conservative Federalist Society, there is no doubt he will vote to undermine or overturn the Affordable Care Act or Roe versus Wade.”
