17.02.25 Augusta Rally to Save the ACA and Social Security
Over 200 citizens attended a Rally to Save Social Security and the Affordable Care Act at the State Capitol in Augusta between the State Capitol Building and the Cross Office Building on Saturday, February 25 at 2 PM.
As the sun broke through the fog, Mayor David Rollins of Augusta welcomed all who gathered to voice opposition to any attempts to reduce Maine residents access to health care and Social Security. Mayor Rollins, Mayor Thom Harnett of Gardiner and John Upham of Move-On all urged rally supporters to get involved in local politics and vote.
