16.02.27 Popham Beach - Late Winter

One of the nice benefits of attending a Peace Vigil at General Dynamics/Bath Iron Works in Bath is that you can go down to Popham Beach afterwards. Bright sunshine, blue waters, freezing winds and high tide greeted me as I walked out onto Popham Beach. Rising sea waters and storms have taken their toll as beach erosion continues inland. The purple color in image #2620 is not an editing trick, it's how the light was captured.
Remember, a bad day at the beach is better than a good day anywhere else.
