19.12.07 Advent Peace Vigil at GD/BIW in Bath

16 Maine peace activists attended the second Advent Peace Vigil for Disarmament at GD/BIW in Bath on Saturday, December 7, 2019. Under a sunny sky and temps in the 20s, the peace activists gathered across from the GD/BIW Administration building at 11:30 AM and marched to the middle employee gate. The large number of shift workers reflected the hiring boom at GD/BIW. As has been happening lately, departing workers took the leaflets and made positive comments. The activists marched back to the GD/BIW administration building and held a closing circle of remembrance and love.
