19.11.30 Advent Peace Vigil for Disarmament at GD/BIW in Bath

13 hearty Maine peace activists held the first Advent Peace Vigil for Disarmament at GD/BIW in Bath on Saturday, November 30, 2019. With temps in the 20s, a partly sunny sky and a blistering wind, the peace activists gathered across from the GD/BIW Administration building at 11:30 AM and marched to the middle employee gate. There were few employees on the Saturday morning shift due to Thanksgiving, but as has been happening lately, departing workers took the leaflets and made positive comments. The activists marched back to the GD/BIW administration building and held a closing circle.
