18.10.06 Peace Vigil at GD/BIW in Bath

29 Maine peace activists attended a Peace Vigil at GD/BIW in Bath on October 6, 2018, a beautiful, sunny, mild fall day. After gathering across from the GD/BIW Administration building at 11:30 AM, the group marched to the middle employee gate to hand out leaflets to departing workers explaining the purpose of the Peace Vigil. After all the workers had departed, the peace activists marched back to the GD/BIW administration building and held a closing circle while a new, deadly Zumwalt-class destroyer is being made ready for launch this year.
