17.12.23 Advent Vigil for Disarmament at GD/BIW in Bath

Nowhere else but Maine! The snowstorm changed to an ice storm during the early morning hours as I drove down to Bath for the Advent Vigil for Disarmament at GD/BIW on December 23, 2017. Arriving late for the Advent Vigil, I barely made the 12 noon shift change as seven Maine peace activists, Bruce, Mary Beth, George, Maureen, Joergen, Jenny and Jane, exchanged Merry Christmas greetings with the parting workers in the freezing rain. The peace activists then marched back to the GD/BIW administration building for a closing circle under the watchful eye of GD/BIW security until the 2018 Lenten Vigil for Disarmament.
