17.11.18 MMCM Q&A Session on New Rules and Regulations

The Medical Marijuana Caregivers of Maine held a Q&A session on the newly issued state rules and regulations concerning medical marijuana on November 18, 2017 at the American Legion Post in Augusta. 150 patients, growers and caregivers listened to Catherine Lewis, MMCM Chair, explain the new rules and regulations issued by the Maine Department of Health and Human Services. Dawson Julia, a MOFGA certified clean cannabis grower, emphasized the need for patients, growers and caregivers to testify at state rules and regulations hearings, citing his own efforts to bring about positive change. With over 5200 registered medical marijuana caregivers, Maine leads the nation in developing and promoting a positive medical cannabis program.
