The New Homegrown Healthcare Alternative Wellness, Apothecary and Learning Center in Winthrop is undergoing renovation and will be opening in early 2017. Located at the corner of US Route 202 and Stanley Road (Route 135) in Winthrop, the Center will house the offices of the Medical Marijuana Caregivers of Maine, Canna Care Docs, New England Cannabis Consulting along with Homegrown Healthcare of Maine's Apothecary and Learning Center (Maine’s first official Cannabis school), plus a State Health Department approved teaching kitchen, which will be available for lease to cardholding patients/caregivers.
